Nannies 4 U has been placing trusted nannies with families since 2004. We are a small business that prides ourselves in meeting the needs of families with young children. We are based in Cape Town and work from home. We pride ourselves in selecting nannies that have potential and then train them up to work with babies and toddlers. The nannies references are always checked. Then they complete a trining course with us. We train them in Baby and Child care, Housekeeping and First Aid for Children. They complete and pass an exam before they are placed.
We believe that nannies play an important role in our society and homes. They spend important foundational years with the children and therefore must be able to play, stimulate their development and care for these precious ones. So we incorporate in their training essential demonstrations and information that is vital.
We believe in delivering quality to the nannies so we have different trainers to aid this process. We contract in a midwife, who spends a session with them discussing health issues that pertain to both Nannies and Babies (from teething, colic, etc to HIV, TB and Hepatitis). We believe in information and education delivery as this will prevent unnecessary accidents and mishaps.
John Hambleton of Frontline Emergency spends a day training the ladies on all the basic life-saving skills. He covers everything from shocks and burns to drowning and CPR.
